Model AC-7k is a double-seated motorglider, equipped with retractable propeller. Crew location - cross. The glider is designed for initial and regular training flights. It is equipped with a three-point retractable landing gear and emergency system.

AC-7k  is equipped with Rotax ® 912 UL DCDI engine with engine power of 100 hp. It has an ability to tow a solo glider.

The trapezoid wing of the big lengthening (23,7) has laminar profile FX60-157 with high value of the maximum carrying power. Specific loading on a wing is limited from 49 kg / sq. m to 53 kg / sq. m depending on weight of useful loading. The glider possesses higly maneuvor  properties: time of a rerun for spirals–45 degrees in 45 degrees makes of a list no more than 3,5 seconds. The sinuosity of a surface of a wing along a profile makes 0,1 mm (under the American standard) that corresponds to the higher range of quality of a surface under the American standard.
Consoles covered with weight incorporate in the center one adjusting finger having on the end the eccentric for tightening of consoles at joining. Automatic connection of control systems by elerons and air brakes is realized thanks to system of cross-section drafts with funneled edge lines, incorporating to spherical tips of onboard swings.


Motor-glider AC-7M is equipped by non-withdrawable chassis with two cross-section located wheels of chamber type, a nasal wheel in diameter 310х12 mm and a tail wheel in diameter 200х80 mm. The shock-absorber — a rubber package. A cylinder of the basic wheels in diameter 360х160 mm on an external contour of a tire cover contain with the shock-absorber reliably work on absorption of shock loadings. The tail wheel in diameter at landing by the first concerns surface VPP (ВПП). On run by movement it is carried out on two cores and a nasal wheel. In a design of the basic wheels ball bearings, and as the brake of "drum" type put in action with the help of rope candle conducting of type "Bouden" are built in. Brakes cope the management handle.


The spacious cabin of a glider allows to take place conveniently, cross-section, to two broad-shouldered pilots growth 180 - 190 sm, thus remain enough empty seat in the field of a head and high knees of legs; the pilot cabin is equipped by pedals of a wheel of a direction regulated on length a soft and convenient back of sitting. The cabin lantern, gives to both pilots the full review outside spaces within corners not less than 300 degrees: "at the left-upwards-to the right". The lantern opens upwards round a lobby ball type suspension brackets. Emergency dump  of a lantern can be executed by moving of two red handles conveniently located on both boards of the bottom contours of a lantern. The compact control panel has enough free space for placing of the standard complete set of pilot-navigating devices, plus possibility of a custom- made configuration, including an additional variometer or other devices. The standard 4 dot fastened system is applied. VHF aerial is placed in keel.

The engine 4 tacts, four-cylinder, air system of cooling of cylinders and liquid system of cooling of heads of cylinders. The carburetor with the pump diaphragm type. For installation on a motor-glider the engine is modified: the exhaust system and the muffler is changed. The engine is  started by an electrostarter.
The electrostarter engine feeds from a source of a direct current pressure 12В. The generator serves system of ignition and develops the electric power, for gymnastics starter batteries. Devices of control of impellent installation: the electronic tachometer and thermoelectric indicators are established directly on instrument to a board in a cabin of the pilot.
The fuel system is placed in a special compartment, in a forward part of an impellent compartment and consists of a fuel tank, the fuel crane, the pipelines providing giving of fuel to the carburetor, the drain pipeline and a drainage tube. Fuel structure: automobile gasoline with octane number not less than 95 on a research method with the maintenance spirit additives to 5 %.
